KPIs for your Dynamics GP system? Dynamics GP does have some KPIs (key performance indicator reports) that are available “out of the box.” But many clients have shared that they are wanting. Year end updates forthcoming Dynamics GP year end updates are scheduled to be released November 19th.
Changes will be required if you plan to process 1099’s, specifically:
1. Payables 1099-NEC (3 part form), 1099-MISC, 1099-DIV form changes
2. Payables 1096 form changes
There is also an update to the Fixed Assets module due to a luxury auto depreciation change.

GP Tip of the month
Interesting question from a client. “Is there a way to lock the AP code on the AP payables transaction entry screen, just to avoid someone changing the code or amount by accident. It should always equal the voucher/invoice total. Same question on the A/R side about locking the AR code.” The answer is yes, see below.
